How to Fund PAVE: Loans, Savings and Clinical-Year Budget
Most PAVE candidates fund the program from their own savings, family support and private loans. US federal student aid is not available to F-1 students, and the one host school that publishes its price, Penn Vet, says grants are not typically available and that it cannot certify private loans for PAVE students. The early fees are modest; the clinical year is not, so the practical task is building enough money, or a loan approval, to show for your visa and pay the school on time.
This article is part of our PAVE cost series. For every fee in detail, read How much does PAVE cost?, and for what each school charges, see ECE tuition by school. If you are about to start, our QSE practice questions mapped to the 2027 outline help you avoid paying for a retake.
