PAVE ECE Tuition by School: What US Vet Schools Charge

Few schools publish what they charge PAVE candidates for the Evaluated Clinical Experience (ECE). As of October 2026, the only school whose clinical-year price we could confirm on its own pages is the University of Pennsylvania (Penn Vet): tuition, fees and expenses of about $85,000 for 2026-27, plus a $4,000 deposit that is credited to the first invoice. Below we list every figure we could confirm, which schools are and are not taking ECE candidates, and the questions to ask any school before you accept a place.

This article belongs to our series on PAVE costs; for the full budget, start with How much does PAVE cost? If you are still before the QSE, our QSE practice questions mapped to the 2027 outline will help you get there.

Last verified: 6 October 2026, on each school's own website. We list a figure only if the school publishes it. navleexam.com is not affiliated with the AAVSB, the AVMA or any school named here.
