These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and NAVLE Exam Prep ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of navleexam.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who May Use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is intended for veterinary students and graduates preparing for licensing examinations. By registering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
2. What the Service Is (and Is Not)
The Service provides original practice questions, explanations, study guides, timed practice examinations and progress tracking for veterinary licensing examinations including the NAVLE®, the BCSE and the QSE.
Educational use only. All content is provided for examination preparation. It is not veterinary medical advice, is not a substitute for professional veterinary judgement, formal education or the official examination materials, and must not be used to diagnose or treat any animal.
NAVLE® is a registered trademark of the International Council for Veterinary Assessment (ICVA). BCSE and ECFVG are programs of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). QSE and PAVE are programs of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB). VetPrep, Zuku and other product names mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. NAVLE Exam Prep is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ICVA, AVMA, AAVSB, any veterinary licensing board, or any other test-preparation company. References to these organizations and their examinations are made only to identify the examinations our materials are designed to help you prepare for.
We do not guarantee that the topics, weighting or style of our questions match any current or future administration of an examination. Examination blueprints change; always rely on the official examining body for current requirements, dates and fees.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration and security
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us at once at support@navleexam.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3.2 One person per account
Each account is for one named individual. Sharing login details, pooling an account among several people, or reselling access is prohibited and may result in immediate suspension without refund. We monitor for concurrent use from multiple locations.
3.3 One account and one free trial per person
Each person may hold one account and receive one free trial. Creating additional accounts, for example with different email addresses, to obtain further free trials or to get around our limits is a breach of these Terms.
Our system automatically detects accounts that are created or used from the same network or device. When a second account is detected, we email a final warning. When three or more accounts are detected, the accounts involved may be blocked automatically and permanently, without further notice. If you share a network with other students (for example at a clinic or university) and believe an account was blocked by mistake, contact us at support@navleexam.com and we will review it.
3.4 Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used fraudulently, or is used to copy or extract our content. Closing an account does not entitle you to a refund except where the law requires it.
4. Free Trial, Plans and Payment
4.1 Free trial
New accounts receive a 1-hour free trial with limited access to the question bank. No payment details are required for the trial. The free trial is limited to one per person (see section 3.3). We may change or withdraw the trial at any time.
4.2 Plans are one-time purchases
All plans are sold as a one-time payment for a fixed period of access (for example 30 days, 3 months, 6 months or 9 months). Your card is charged once at purchase and is not charged again. When the access period ends, access stops; nothing renews automatically. Lifetime plans are no longer sold; for a plan bought as lifetime before 20 October 2026, "lifetime" means the lifetime of the Service, for as long as we operate it.
Accounts created under our earlier recurring plans may still hold an active subscription. If yours does, it continues to renew until cancelled and you can cancel at any time from Settings; access then continues to the end of the paid period.
4.3 Prices, taxes and payment processing
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time, but a change does not affect a plan you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Where applicable, sales tax or VAT is added at checkout or included as shown.
4.4 Immediate access and withdrawal rights
Because digital content is delivered immediately, you expressly request that access begin at once and acknowledge that, where a statutory cancellation or withdrawal period exists (for example the 14-day right for consumers in the EU and UK), you lose that right once access has begun.
4.5 Promotions and referral rewards
Promotional codes and referral rewards are subject to the conditions published with them, may be withdrawn at any time, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be revoked if obtained through fraud or misuse.
5. Refunds and the Pass Guarantee
No refunds. Because access is granted immediately and content cannot be returned, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except where required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy (billing errors, duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions).
Pass Guarantee. If you do not pass the examination you prepared for, we will extend your plan free of charge for the same length as the plan you bought (plans bought as lifetime before 20 October 2026 need no extension). To qualify you must:
- have answered at least 90% of the practice questions available in your exam category during your paid period;
- send official documentation of the failing result (score report or official notification);
- submit the claim to support@navleexam.com within 30 days of receiving your result; and
- hold a plan that is active or expired no more than 30 days before the claim.
The Pass Guarantee is an extension of access, not a cash payment, and is available once per examination attempt. Full details are in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property and Content Protection
All content on the Service, including questions, answer options, explanations, study guides, images we created or licensed, software, design and text, is owned by or licensed to NAVLE Exam Prep and is protected by United States and international copyright law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to view the content for your own examination preparation. All other rights are reserved.
You may not:
- copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell or share any content, in whole or in part;
- screen-record, photograph, print or otherwise capture questions, explanations or platform content;
- use bots, scrapers, browser extensions or other automated tools to access or extract content;
- use the content to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning model, or to build a competing product;
- remove copyright notices, or circumvent the copy-protection measures on the Service.
Enforcement. If we reasonably believe your account is being used to copy, record, scrape or redistribute our content, we may suspend or permanently close it without notice and without refund, and we may pursue legal remedies. We keep access logs that may be used as evidence.
6.1 Origin of question content
All questions on the Service are original works. We do not reproduce, copy or republish items from any live examination, and no question, answer option or explanation on the Service is taken from an actual NAVLE, BCSE or QSE administration. Any resemblance to a live examination item is coincidental and results from both drawing on the same body of standard veterinary knowledge.
Subject areas, species categories and their relative weightings are informed by the publicly available content outlines of the examining bodies and by the judgement of practising veterinarians. Those outlines determine what subject matter we cover; they do not supply the questions. Question text, answer options and explanations are drafted with the assistance of artificial-intelligence tools and reviewed for accuracy before publication, and we cite the veterinary references (such as the Merck Veterinary Manual and peer-reviewed literature) used to verify them.
6.2 Accuracy and error reporting
No question bank of this size can be guaranteed free of error, and veterinary knowledge changes. If you believe a question, answer key or explanation is incorrect, please tell us at support@navleexam.com with the question details; we review every report and correct confirmed errors. Reporting an error does not create any claim against us.
6.3 Your content
Notes, flashcards and messages you create on the Service remain yours. You grant us a licence to store and display them to you in order to provide the Service. Do not upload content that infringes anyone else's rights.
6.4 Copyright complaints
If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, follow the procedure on our Copyright / DMCA page.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems; to interfere with its operation; to post abusive, defamatory or infringing material; to impersonate any person; or to misuse the referral, promotion, trial or contact features (including creating multiple trial accounts).
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service uses third-party providers (for example Stripe for payments, Google for analytics and reCAPTCHA, and Reddit for advertising measurement) and may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Our use of personal data with these providers is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT, OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN PASSING ANY EXAMINATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAVLE Exam Prep AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR EXAMINATION OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR US $100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NAVLE Exam Prep from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Talk to us first. If you have a dispute with us, email support@navleexam.com with a description of the problem. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Most issues are resolved this way.
Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court to protect intellectual property, and you keep any consumer-protection rights that the law of your place of residence does not allow to be waived.
Class-action waiver. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated or representative proceeding.
13. Changes to the Service and to These Terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify registered users by email or by a notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to disputes that arose before them.
14. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy, Refund and Cookie Policies, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of the business. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your account. You consent to receive agreements, notices and disclosures electronically.
